Editorial Assignment – Laurent Potdevin, CEO of Lululemon for The Wall Street Journal

It’s time to get some updates up on the blog again. I have been neglecting it for the last few months as it has been a very busy time.

I’ll start of with posting this guy, his name is Laurent Potdevin and he is the CEO of Lululemon, I photographed him earlier this year for The Wall Street Journal and the article was published over the summer. Since then I have actually been back at Lululemon twice, photographing him for both Forbes Magazine and Canadian Business. He is a popular man!

Kindergarten Cop 2 – Key Art – Universal Pictures

I had the pleasure of photographing the Kindergarten Cop 2  gallery shoot for Universal Pictures. It’s the sequel to the 1990 comedy film Kindergarten Cop with Arnold Schwarzenegger. It’s directed by Don Michael Paul and starring Dolph Lundgren and Bill Bellamy.

Assigned to recover sensitive stolen data, a gruff FBI agent goes undercover as a kindergarten teacher, but the school’s liberal, politically correct environment is more than he bargained for.

Its was a fun shoot with lots of kids(obviously) and included a bit of the good old Scandinavian rivalry between myself(being Danish) and the Swedish Mr. Lundgren.

Editorial Assignment – The Most Hated Man In Business

A while back I had the pleasure of photographing David Baines for Western University. As a stock reporter for the Vancouver Sun David Baines made a lot of enemies while uncovering the dark and shady sides of investment businesses in Vancouver. He was named the “Most Hated Man in Business” by BC Business Magazine, been sued coutless times, received death treats and on one occation notified by law enforcement that someone was shopping for a contract on his life!

As an alumni from Western University they where looking for some conceptual portraits of this interesting man for their Alumni Magazine. Below are the images we created. Enjoy

New Work – Pink Shirt Day for RETHINK

Earlier this year I had the pleasure of working with Rethink Vancouver on a great campaign for Pink Shirt Day. A fairly simple but nonetheless fun little project to work on and photograph…

“Pink Shirt Day. On February 25, 2015 we encourage everyone to wear something pink to show that we are all working together to prevent bullying in our schools, in our communities and online.”

Editorial Assignment – Mark Tyndall for Vancouver Magazine

Late last year I had the pleasure of photographing Dr. Mark Tyndall for Vancovuer Magazine. Mark had just been appointed director of the B.C. Centre for Disease Control when I photographed him (which was right when the Ebola “panic” was at its high!). It’s also a Black and White photograph, which – as you might know –  is a little rare for me, nonetheless I think it turned out great.

On another note I also just passed a 1000 followers over on my Instagram which is a minor milestone I suppose:) Thanks for the support!
